Bhakta Tony Haribol! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Sria Prabhupada and his mission to save the conditioned souls in the West. This is the first time I have written such letter, so please feel free to provide it with whatever pronouns, proper introdution and end-form is appropriate thank you! I had the fortunate opportunity to meet and stay with Srila Acharayadev some two and one-half years ago when he was renting a house in Charottesville, Virginia. Being a relative newcomer to ISKCON I didn't know what to expect, but i was pleasantly surprised by his personable and friendly nature... ...we chatted for many hours on a great variety of topics: I am so very grateful to Krishna and you, Sria Acharayadev, for providing me with the opportunity to serve Srila Prabhupada's mission here in Atlanta. I have been asked to do things I would never have thought I had any interest or aptitude for, and it is and has been an interesting and opening challange. I don't much care for interacting with worldly people, so I was asked to be around them all day in restoring a guest house; I hate to think about money so I was asked to be the treasurer for the temple; and I find management of others against my nature so I have been continually barraged with opportunities to manage. Don't you understand? I am a yoga teacher! I am watching my body deteriorate as my opportunities to serve increase in ways I never thought I would care to do. But I do care to do, and I am learning what a gift the ability to say yes can be. Some day ( I pray) I will return to teaching with a renewed vigor and a deep appreciation for all the many things so many others do, and a higher value for my student's life predicaments. These so called mundane occupations can be just one more avenue to Krishna consciousness, as they have been for me. Thank you, Srila Acharayadev, for your vision, for your mentoring, and for your friendship. By your example I am learning so much. Yours in Krsna's service, Bhakta Tony
