H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami's surgery was an amazing success!!!
As the doctors put it, it couldn't possibly have gone better. His Holiness did not even require pain medication after the surgery, and was alert and vibrant within hours. He stated yesterday that I have to remind myself I just had surgery!
B.T. Swami attributes the miraculous success of the surgery and his quick recovery to the powerful prayers of his disciples and well-wishers around the world. At 11:00 Eastern Standard Time, devotees on every continent came together in prayer to wish our beloved guru a quick recovery... and the Lord was listening!
He later told us that he now realizes that Krishna was using this whole experience to bring us all together to take inventory of our spiritual lives, and to experience the collective power we have when we come together in love for our guru.
He also told us that, now that he's feeling better, we should be ready for his work to accelerate like anything! Let us hold onto the spiritual focus and intensity we have just experienced and put that energy behind our guru as he devotes his energy to uplifting the world.
