My Dear Father Srila Acharyadeva,
Please accept my humblest obeisances on this most auspicious of days.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Your Divine Grace.
History will look back on these days as a most important phase in the growth of ISKCON, where a more mature and deeper understanding of Srila Prabhupada’s mission was being developed. It is only by the light of the profound experience and knowledge in Krishna Consciousness that you have acquired that we, your followers, are allowed to more clearly see the path laid out by our founder-acharya Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Guided by our ears at your lotus feet we learn the way and teach others to follow us. In this narrow path all sorts of troubles on either side besiege us. We thus draw our courage from your perfect example and continue, despite our inadequacies.
We can only pray that Krishna and Prabhupada will kindly allow you to remain with us for many years to come, so that we many not get lost, and that They may bless you with health and spiritual bliss to alleviate your feelings of separation and the troubles of being a great spiritual leader.
